Terms of Use
The rules for using athl.link, in plain words. By creating a page you agree to them.
What athl.link is
athl.link gives runners a free page with their races, results and links. It's a hobby project run by one person in Spain, not a company.
Who can use it
You need to be 16 or older. One page per person, and it has to be about you (or the club or team you run).
Your page and what you post
What you put on your page is yours, and you're responsible for it. Please don't post:
- Anything illegal, hateful or meant to hurt someone
- A page pretending to be someone else, or a brand or club you don't run
- Other people's personal data or photos without their OK
- Photos, logos or texts you don't have the rights to
- Spam, fake results or links to scams
You let us show what you post on your page, and where athl.link shows it: race and club pages, share images, and search engines. That lasts as long as it's on athl.link. You can change or delete it any time.
Races, clubs and photos
Race and club details come from organisers' websites, from runners, and from AI assistants that help us look them up. We check them, but mistakes happen: before you sign up for a race, check its official website.
City photos marked "AI-generated" were made with AI. They show what a city looks like, not a real moment.
Reports and what we do
See something that breaks these rules? Use the Report link at the bottom of every page, or report it here. You don't need an account.
We look at every report. If something breaks these rules or the law, we may hide or remove it, take back a handle, or close an account. We tell the person what we did and why, and they can reply if they think we got it wrong.
Handles
Handles (athl.link/yourname) are first come, first served. Some are reserved, and we may take back one that pretends to be someone else or is never used to show a page.
No guarantees
athl.link is free and comes as it is. We do our best to keep it running and your data safe, but things can break, change or, one day, stop. If we ever shut it down, we'll tell you in advance so you can save what you need.
We're not responsible for losses from using athl.link, for example from a wrong race date, as far as the law allows. Nothing here takes away rights the law gives you.
Leaving
You can delete your account any time in Settings. Your page and everything on it are gone right away.
Changes and the law
If these terms change in a way that matters to you, we'll tell you by email or on the site before it applies.
Spanish law applies. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of your own country's consumer law.
